With almost 70 years dedicated to business law, Modesto Carvalhosa is a national and international reference in the area. Carvalhosa’s career has been marked by his work on strategic issues such as corporate governance, capital markets, and arbitration.

He played a key role in establishing the Brazilian capital market, acting as legal advisor to the São Paulo Stock Exchange (1965-1975). He had a long career as a professor of Commercial Law at USP. His academic output includes works that are a reference in corporate law, such as “Comentários à Lei das Sociedades Anônimas”, first published in 1977. Throughout his career, he has participated in legislative reforms and debates on fundamental business law issues.

Today, as the founder of Modesto Carvalhosa, Kuyven e Ronco Advogados, Carvalhosa continues to advise companies, investors, and business families, contributing his expertise in highly complex cases and strategic issues in business law.
